A happy Monday morning my loves. I hope you enjoyed a more relaxing weekend than I did. As you can imagine, before Christmas things are going crazy over here and we have quite some projects in the pipeline to publish in the upcoming weeks so we spent the days shooting for hours and some of the planned photo series took much more effort than we thought in the end.
Also, Joy is still in Hawai since a perceived eternity and honestly I’m getting more and more jealous with every picture she uploads on Instagram (who would not want sun and sea instead of rain and cold?), therefor Stefan had to take over her job meanwhile and prove himself behind the camera. I’m curious to hear your thoughts about the result in a few weeks ;)For the moment I luckily still have a few outfits to share which we produced in mass production style before Joy left. Haha. But it’s actually not hard to see that even back then it was already quite cool outside if you have a look at my nose which reminds me of Rudolf the rednosed reindeer. But hey, the total outfit actually goes perfectly well with tights and over the knee boots while not losing its coolness thanks to the pattern mix, bomber jacket and the label belt.
Apropos over the knee boots, I honestly haven’t been wearing some this season so far and just remember how often I used to wear them last winter. They were kind of my favorites to combine with dresses, skirts and even jeans sometimes. What do you think? It’s time for a over the knee boots revival on The Fashion Fraction, no?
Einen frohen Montagmorgen meine Lieben.
Ich hoffe, ihr habt ein entspannteres Wochenende geniessen können, als ich es tat. Denn bei mir standen zwar nicht ausserordentlich viele Shootings an – dafür umso aufwändigere. Und weil Joy bereits seit einer gefühlten Ewigkeit in Hawai weilt und mich fast täglich mit neuen Bildern auf Instagram neidisch macht (wer wünscht sich aktuell auch nicht Sonne und Meer statt Regen und Kälte?), musste erstmal Stefan ran und sich hinter der Kamera beweisen. Ihr dürft in wenigen Wochen urteilen, was ihr zum Ergebnis meint ;)Aktuell gibts jetzt aber erstmal noch Outfits, die ich vor der Abreise noch massenproduktionsartig mit Joy geschossen habe. Dass es aber damals schon ziemlich kühl war, lässt sich ab meiner Nase, die an jene von Renntier Rudolf erinnern, kaum leugnen. Aber das Outfit lässt sich ja schliesslich auch wunderbar mit Strümpfen und/oder Overknee Boots tragen und verliert dabei bestimmt nichts an sicher Coolness dank Mustermix, Bomberjacke und Label-Gürtel.
Apropos Overkneeboots, dieses Jahr habe ich tatsächlich noch keine getragen, wo ich doch letztes Jahr fast täglich in der Rock- oder Kleid-Stiefel-Kombi und ab und an auch in Kombination mit Jeans unterwegs war. Was meint ihr? Zeit für ein Revival der Überkniestiefel auf The Fashion Fraction?
