There are those moments when my boyfriend just quizzically looks at me with arched eyebrows before he tells me that it’s a stupid idea which I just proposed.
Admittedly, those moments are often those in which I enthusiastically tell about an idea of a photo story that I have in mind and talk him into stepping on chairs and tables for the right perspective or stripping our bedding (and ask a couple of fellow travelers to do the same) in order to put them on a clothesline to create a (damn cool!
) picture backdrop. Well, this is what happened exactly one week ago right when we started our blogger trip to Sicily and tada here you go with the pictures. I guess it has not been a stupid idea, boy!Apropos, we just arrived in our hotel in Los Angeles right at the beach (see Instagram stories) where we will stay the next days and we’re currently fighting against our tiredness until it is finally 10pm over here and time for bed because we want to work against the jetlag and get used to the new time from day one. Let’s hope it’s worth it to be awake since 24 hours already ;)
Es gibt diese Momente da guckt mich mein Freund bloss fragend mit hochgezogenen Augenbrauen an, bevor er mir entgegnet, dass das eine doofe Idee ist, die ich da gerade vorschlage.
Nicht selten sind diese Momente solche, in denen ich voller Begeisterung von einer Idee für eine Fotostrecke erzähle und ihn dazu bringe, für die richtige Perspektive auf Stühle und Tische zu stehen oder eben mal unsere Bettlaken abzuziehen (und Mitreisende um selbiges zu bitten), um sie als (richtig coolen!) Hintergrund an die Wäscheleine zu hängen. Das ist nämlich vor genau einer Woche während unserer Bloggerreise passiert und ta-da, die Bilder sind doch wirklich was geworden, oder?
Übrigens sind wir gerade in Los Angeles in unserem Hotel direkt am Strand angekommen (siehe Instagram Stories), wo wir die Tage verweilen werden und halten aktuell noch brav durch und verzichten auf den dringend benötigen Schlaf, bis auch auch hier endlich 22 Uhr abends ist, um dem Jetlag entgegenzuwirken und uns direkt an die neue Zeit zu gewöhnen. Hoffen wir, dass es die 24 Stunden wach sein wert sind ;)
