Today we finally continue with the promised Winter Special on which I worked with a hand full of other bloggers (Anne, Masha, Vicky, as well as the boys from Dandy Diary and Starecasers) during my stay in Schladming two weeks ago. After the first outfit share, my favorite (and even healthy) winter muesli recipe, the secret about shiny hair in winter and the hotel recommendation or ski fans or the ones who only look for the perfect place to unwind, here we go with a new outfit.
As an anti snow sport person and equally anti skiwear fan, the very thought of those typically super colorful and fancy patterned ski jackets make my hair stand on end. Sure, they might keep one comfortably warm – but even in the mountains and with -15 degrees there are options. With a little more taste. With a touch of Bohème. With a bit of creativity and some cheating. Take a bargain of your late summer shale shopping – a maxi dress – slip into a thick pair of wool tights and add a fluffy padded parka on top. Now step into a snow-suitable pair of booties and finally it’s ready, the unusual winter look.
It keeps at least as warm as those mentioned multicolored jackets! I swear! And in case someone is still freezing (what I actually doubt), one can easily add an extra layer by wearing a sweater over the dress. When it gets to warm, just pull out that sweater and put it into the large bag you carry with you.
Heute geht’s endlich weiter mit dem Winter Special, an dem ich mit ein paar weiteren Bloggern (Anne, Masha, Vicky, sowie die Jungs von Dandy Diary und Starecasers) vor zwei Wochen im österreichischen Schladming gearbeitet habe. Nach dem ersten Outfit, meinem liebsten (und sogar gesunden) Wintermüesli, dem Geheimtipp für glänzendes Haar im Winter und einer Hotelempfehlung für Skifans und solche, die einfach mal abschalten möchten, gibt’s heute ein weiteres Outfit.
Als Anti-Schneesportler und gleichermassen Anti-Skikleiderfan sträubt es mir die Nackenhaare allein schon beim Gedanken an diese typischen, superbunten und fancy gemusterten Skijacken. Klar, sie mögen angenehm warm halten – aber selbst in den Bergen und bei -15 Grad geht es anders. Mit etwas mehr Stil. Mit einem Touch Bohème. Mit etwas Kreativität und mit einem bisschen Schummeln. Man nehme ein Schnäppchen des spätsommerlichen Sale-Shoppings – ein Maxikleid – schlüpfe in eine dicke Wollstrumpfhose und addiere einen flauschig gefütterten Parka. Fehlen nur noch ein paar schneetaugliche Booties und schon ist er komplett, der etwas andere Winterlook.
Hält mindestens genau so warm wie die quietschbunten Jacken! I swear! Und falls jemand doch frieren sollte (was ich bezweifle), der kann auch gerne noch einen Pulli über dem Kleid tragen. Sollte es dann doch zu warm werden – einfach in die grosse Tasche stopfen.
