So far I successfully managed to ignore the fact that the bargain hunter aka. sale season aka. my favorite season of the year started. For one thing because it can be really frustrating to see all the things you just purchased recently for full price are now reduced and for another thing because there are other pieces you had an eye on since forever and now they’re finally in the sale.
In any case, sale season is not as good for the bank account as it is for the soul. ;))Let me explain why the Sale caught up with me tho: Whenever I want to type «Netflix» in my browser window, the site that actually opens is Net-A-Porter, as it’s obviously ranked higher in my google suggestions (what does that say about me. whoopsie) and well, those big, fat, red letters saying SALE are not easy to ignore, so I dared to have a look at the sale items. You know, I never buy any of my expensive Designer pieces for their full price – 4000€ for a bag? Never ever! I rather check second hand shops or wait for the sale to start until I decided to really splurge on something. I can easily spend hours and hours to look for the best deals or one specific pieces that has been on my wish list since a while.
So, as my sale research takes quite some time and effort I decided to share my results with you guys so that we all benefit from it – I guess we have a similar taste, otherwise you probably wouldn’t be reading these lines, right? ;)
Bislang habe ich es erfolgreich geschafft, zu ignorieren, das offiziell Schnäppchenjäger- aka. Sale-Saison aka. meine Lieblingssaison ist. Zum einen, weil diese Zeit kann auch ganz schön frustrierend sei kann, wenn plötzlich all die Teile im Sale sind, für die ich erst kürzlich noch den vollen Preis bezahlt habe, zum anderen weil es dafür andere Teile gibt, auf die schon lange ein Auge geworfen habe, die jetzt vergünstigt sind. In any case, die Sale Saison ist nicht unbedingt vorteilhaft für mein Bankkonto. ;))
Da sich aber jedes Mal, wenn ich «Netflix» in der Browserleiste eintippen möchte, automatisch erstmal Net-A-Porter öffnet (soll das etwas heissen, dass ich mehr Zeit in einem Onlinehop als mit Serien verbringe?) und mich in dicken, roten Buchstaben das Wort SALE anspringt, kam ich einfach nicht mehr drum herum, mich doch umzusehen. Besonders wenn es um teuere Designer-Teile geht, kaufe ich nämlich NIE zum vollen Preis ein – 4000€ für eine Tasche? Never ever! Ich suche entweder Second Hand oder warte auf den Sale, bis ich zuschlage. Dann kann ich gut und gerne auch mal einige Stunden Onlineshopps abklappern, um den besten Deal oder eben ein bestimmtes Stück, dass schon lange auf meiner Wunschliste steht, zu finden.
Und weil mich meine Sale-Recherche immer viel Zeit und Mühe kostet, kann ich sie auch einfach direkt mit euch teilen, dann haben wir alles etwas davon – wir scheinen ja den selben Geschmack zu haben, sonst währt ihr jetzt nicht hier und würdet das lesen ;)
