Damn, it’s quite disappointing that I manage to come up with the first picture from Berlin only now – two weeks later. Whoopsie! But as the saying goes: Better late than never! Today’s layering look is one of my favorite outfits I wore during Berlin Fashion Week and once again one of these very typical, fancy Michèle kinda looks, just like you used to see it four times a week over here.
These kind of wild layering ensembles are not only practical to keep warm in freezing cold Berlin, but also to perfectly fit into the fashion week hustle and bustle while still standing out. Honestly guys, I really missed this creative side of me on the blog recently. What about you?So I’m really hoping for recovery on my part in the coming months, because – guess what! – there’s only one month left of working at my full time job as an art director before I start into my new life in full self-employment which will hopefully leave more time for more content. Well, actually I have quite some pictorial content ready, it’s just my head that suddenly feels completely emptied whenever I want to lay down a few lines. Do you know that strange habit, when you have to do something quite urgently (e.g. learning for an exam) but then start doing things which suddenly seem to be much more important (e.g. clearing up the kitchen, brushing the dust of the light switch or cleaning out your wardrobe)?
The good thing about it: You do many other things you never really feel like doing, as they suddenly feel more interesting to do than your actual task. The bad thing about it: What you actually wanted should have done, is still waiting to get settled. But as now you’ve already been sooooo productive, you deserve a rest, don’t you? Struggle of my life, I tell you! Wanna hear the joke about it? Well, uhm, I should actually learn for an exam right NOW and finish two other projects for studies. But hey, there has not been a new blogpost in a while, so yes, this is much more important, right? ;))
Eigentlich ganz schön traurig, dass ich es erst jetzt schaffe, die ersten Bilder aus Berlin online zu stellen – zwei Wochen später. Ups! Aber wie sagt man so schön: Besser spät als nie! Der heutige Zwiebellook war einer meiner liebsten während der Berliner Fashion Week und einmal wieder einer dieser typischen, ausgefallenen Michèle-Kreationen, die es hier früher oft zu sehen gab. Einfach mal wild darauf los geschichtet, ist das Resultat nicht nur praktisch, um sich im eisig-kalten Berlin warm zu halten, sondern auch, um sich perfekt in den Modezirkus zu integrieren und nicht wenig aufzufallen. Nein ehrlich, ich habe diese kreative Seite an mir hier auf dem Blog letztens wirklich vermisst. Ihr auch?
Ich hoffe also sehr auf eine Besserung meinerseits in den nächsten Monaten, denn – guess what! – es bleibt mir nur noch ein letzter Monat in meiner Festanstellung, bis ich dann nur noch und endlich komplett selbständig arbeiten werde und dementsprechend wieder mehr Zeit für Content habe. Naja, also es ist ja eigentlich so, dass ich jede Menge bildlichen Content parat habe, mein Kopf aber immer komplett leer wird, sobald es ums Texten geht. Kennt ihr das, wenn ihr euch an etwas setzt, dass ihr unbedingt machen solltet (z.B. für eine Prüfung büffeln), dann aber plötzlich ganz viel anderes ganz viel wichtiger erscheint (z.B. Küche aufräumen, Lichtschalter abstauben oder Schrank ausmisten).
Das Gute daran: Man erledigt ganz viele andere Sachen, auf die man sonst auch nie Lust hat, die jetzt aber doch interessanter scheinen, als die eigentlich anstehende Aufgabe. Das Schlechte daran: Was man eigentlich tun wollte sollte, legt man dann doch beiseite, weil man ja jetzt anderweitig schon seeeehr produktiv war. Struggle of my life, ich sags euch! Der Witz daran? Also, ähm, eigentlich sollte ich JETZT gerade für eine Klausur lernen und eine Projektarbeit fertig stellen. Aber hey, es gab auch schon viel zu lange keinen neuen Blogpost mehr, das hat jetzt einfach Vorrang ;))
