One week passed by since we entered the plane to Venice for the second time this year – and basically ever – and I could not have been happier about it because last time was way too short so I already told myself I will be back real soon to explore even more of this floating city and get lost in the maze to escape the masses of tourists.
But it should not only be the city of Venice itself leaving me in fascination and awe, but also the entire program during the coming days spent to celebrate the new Seamaster Aqua Terra, a new model of Swiss luxury watch brand OMEGA.I think every girl dreams about being a princess one day and deep inside the dream will always continue to exist. Thanks to OMEGA it became true just another time. Many of you followed the experience via my Instagram Story and know exactly what I mean: A princess-like dress made of tulle and even more tulle, a luxuriously sparkling OMEGA on my wrist and an actual palace in the middle of Venice with five magical rooms display the new Aqua Terra Models – and suddenly the so far closed doors opened and offered a view on the most royal ballroom: “Dinner is served!” Almost awestruck but for sure speechless we entered the room. Many of you know: I’m a details addict! So it took me a couple of minutes to embrace every single corner until I was approachable again. ;) It’s quite similar when it comes to OMEGAs new models which convince with feminine elegance and finest details. Especially the pieces with a dial made of shimmering mother-of-pearl and eleven diamonds indicating the time which I’m wearing in todays pictures and for the event.
It’s those kind of days and evenings which make me look back to my life as a student a couple of years ago and which make me wonder how this all happened so quickly and how I ended up at this kind of events today which I used to follow via other media years back. It’s those kind of days and evenings which make me feel incredibly grateful for everything and make me wish to press a pause bottom to stop the time for a (long) moment. :)
Eine Woche ist mittlerweile vergangen, seit wir zum zweiten Mal dieses Jahr in den Flieger Richtung Venedig stiegen und ich hätte mich nicht mehr darüber freuen können, denn nach dem letzten (viel zu kurzen) Mal, hatte ich mir geschworen, bald wiederzukommen um noch mehr dieser einzigartigen «schwimmenden Stadt» zu sehen, in deren Labyrinth aus Kanälen und Gassen ich nur all zu gerne verloren gehe, um den Touristenströmen zu entkommen. Aber es sollte nicht nur Venedig selbst sein, dass mich erneut in seinen Bann zieht, sondern das ganze Programm der kommenden Tage zur Feier der Seamaster Aqua Terra, einem neuen Modell der Schweizer Luxusuhrenmarke OMEGA.
Ich glaube, jedes Mädchen träumt davon, einmal Prinzessin zu sein und tief im Innern schlummert der Mädchentraum stets weiter. Für mich ging er dank OMEGA ein weiteres Mal in Erfüllung. Viele von euch haben den Abend auf Instagram in meiner Story mitverfolgt und wissen genau, wovon ich spreche: Ein prinzessinnenhaftes Kleid aus Tüll und noch mehr Tüll, eine luxuriös funkelnden OMEGA am Handgelenk und ein Palast mitten in Venedig mit fünf märchenhaft dekorierten Räumen, in denen die neuen Aqua Terra Modelle präsentiert wurden – und ganz plötzlich öffneten sich die bislang verschlossenen Türen und gaben den Blick auf einen königlichen Festsaal frei: «Das Dinner ist angerichtet». Fast schon ehrfürchtig und auf jeden Fall sprachlos betraten wir den Raum. Viele von euch wissen: Ich liebe Details! Und so brauchte ich erst einmal eine Weile, um jedes einzelne zu erfassen, bis ich wieder ansprechbar war ;) Ähnlich ist mit OMEGAs neuen Modellen, die mit femininer Eleganz und feinsten Details überzeugen. Speziellem das Stück mit einem Zifferblatt aus schimmerndem Perlmutt und elf Diamanten als Zeitindikatoren, das ich in den heutigen Fotos als auch für den Event trug.
Es sind Tage und Abende wie diese, an denen ich an wenige Jahre früher zurückdenke und es kaum glauben kann, dass ich heute all das selber erleben darf, was ich früher bloss von Magazinen und all meinen Vorbildern auf Instagram kannte. Es sind Tage und Abende wie diese, an denen ich einfach nur unglaublich dankbar für alles bin und am liebsten eine Pausenknopf drücken würde, um die Zeit für einen (langen) Moment anzuhalten. :)
