Today’s outfit is one of which I know 100% that you will like it. I know, it mights seems like I have second sight – I wish! Admittedly I don’t #breakingnews. Rather I already shared the outfit (minus the jacket and accessories) live on Instagram the day I wore it and your feedback was amazing. So with a little postponement the outfit finally makes it on the blog as well.
I absolutely understand why you are so enthusiastic about it. Because I am too. Well, I don’t want to give myself a pat on the back – but rather spread my excitement about the single pieces. So you can actually see it as a slap on the back oh the designer instead. I won’t even start talking about the show-stopper pants, the shoes screamed my name through my MacBook and off shoulder tops are anyway a must have in the wardrobe of every basic bitch.
Not that I would label myself as a basic bitch because I most definitely don’t feel very inventive wearing an off the shoulder piece. I’m very aware of the fact that every other picture in my Instagram feed is presenting me some naked shoulders – preferably in Santorini or Mykonos. Basic Bitch 2.0? But well, I’m extra clever, soooo different and bad-ass because I chose a construction site as my backdrop. Trashy, you know! Ok, all jokes aside now! Wearing trends is perfectly fine if you like them and off the shoulder clothing is indeed a beautiful trend. Stop, full stop, finish, amen.
Heute kommt ein Outfit, von dem ich weiss, dass ihr es gerne mögt. Man könnte glatt meinen, ich könne hellsehen – schön wärs! Zugegeben ist dem aber leider nicht so #werhättedasgedacht. Vielmehr gabs das Outfit (ohne Jacke und Tasche) quasi schon Live auf Instagram an dem Tag, an dem ich es trug und euer Feedback war wahnsinnig positiv. Mit etwas zeitlicher Verschiebung schafft es der Look nun auch endlich auf den Blog.
Ich kann ja auch ganz gut verstehen, warum ihr so begeistert seid. Ich bin es nämlich genau so. Also, ich will mir jetzt hier nicht selber auf die Schulter klopfen – sondern bloss meiner Begeisterung für die einzelnen Teile freien Lauf lassen. Man könnte es also auch als Schulterklopfer für die Designer betrachten. Zur Knüllerhose (mir füllt grad kein anderer, passender Ausdruck ein) muss ich mich gar nicht erst äussern, die Schuhe schrien aus dem Screen heraus meinen Namen und off shoulder tops sind ja sowieso ein Must Have in der Garderobe jeder Basic Bitch.
Nicht dass ich mich selber als Basic Bitch bezeichnen würde, denn für besonders einfallsreich halte ich mich mit schulterfreien Teilen schliesslich nicht. Mir ist nämlich sehr wohl bewusst, dass sich mir auf jedem zweiten Bild meines Instagramfeeds ein paar nackige Schultern präsentieren – vorzugsweise aus Santorini oder Mykonos. Basic Bitch 2.0? Ich bin diesbezüglich allerdings besonders clever und «anders» und wähle stattdessen knallhart eine Baustelle als Hintergrund. Trashy, you know! Spass beiseite: Trends zu tragen ist doch einfach vollkommen okey, wenn sie einem denn wirklich gefallen und schulterfrei ist nunmal einfach wahnsinnig schön! Schluss. Aus. Amen.
