Good morning lovelies. As I just rolled back home from the last event of today – literally, because I always get into this food jealousy mood when it comes to flying dinners and end up eating way too much – and I’m actually glad to stay here in Switzerland for the next two weeks before we’re leaving on two (or four, some are not yet confirmed) new trips one right after the other.
So that was one short update of my life… and finally the first outfit straight from the Côte d’Azur where the sun is always shining – NOT – is ready too.As some of you may already noticed, recently Stefan and I are quite unlucky regarding the weather when in France. So we were able to enjoy one day of sun #yay followed by two days of rain #nay. But anyway, we’re a group of #PositiveMinds over here, right? So we made the best of this one beautiful day. Due to the fact that the clothes I brought here were rather thought for summer, sun, beach and sea and rather not for rain, wind and clouds, day one aka. the only sunny day turned into a serious shooting day with hourly outfit changes ;)) Well, not really, haha, but there were indeed quite a few pieces which HAD to hit the streets of Cannes.
For example that red off the shoulder top which I spotted shortly before the trip and which was a true bargain! As always when online shopping you just can’t stick to one piece, so when I came over the fab blue and white skirt it had to get into that basket as well although it’s not as much as a bargain as the 25€ top. But as it’s a very versatile pieces and goes so well with colorful tops (as proved today) as well as with a minimal grey turtleneck sweater I found it’s worth to invest in.
It’s just always makes a good match. Here in Cannes, and hopefully in a few weeks in Switzerland as well when the temperatures grow just a tiny bit more.Moin moin liebe Leute. Nachdem ich gerade von dem letzten Event von heute nachhause gerollt bin – wortwörtlich, weil ich bei Flying Dinners immer unter Futterneid leide und mich schlussendlich total überfresse –, bin ich ganz froh jetzt erstmal zwei Wochen in der Schweiz zu bleiben, bevor dann direkt zwei oder sogar vier Trips (not yet confirmed und so) hintereinander anstehen. Das mal als kleines Update aus meinem Leben… und dann gibts noch das erste Outfit aus der Côte d’Azur, wo die Sonne immer scheint. Nicht.
Wie einigen schon mitbekommen haben, sind Stefan und ich in Frankreich nämlich irgendwie vom Pech verfolgt, was das Wetter angeht. So durften wir zwar einen Tag Sonne geniessen #yay, dafür die nächsten Tage in verregneten Strassen durch die Stadt stapfen #fail. Anyway, wir sind ja hier eine Gruppe von #PositiveMinds und deshalb machen wir jeweils das Beste aus der Sache, oder? Wir machten also das Beste aus diesem einen Tag. Meine mitgebrachte Garderobe war zwar auf Sommer, Sonne, Strand und Meer ausgelegt und weniger auf Nieselregen, Wind und Wolke, daher wurde an Tag 1 aka. the only sunny day, mal eben alles ausgepackt und Outfits im Stundentakt gewechselt. ;)) Naja, nicht ganz, aber es gab da schon ein paar Teile, die unbedingt in die Strassen von Cannes ausgeführt werden mussten.
Zum Beispiel dieses schulterfreie Top, dass ich kurz vor dem Trip entdeckte und das ein echtes Schnäppchen war und auch der blau-weisse Rock, der zwar nicht ganz so günstig ist wie das Top, dafür aber umso fabelhafter und ein richtiger Allrounder, der zu bunten Tops als auch grauen Rollkragenpullis einen perfect Match abgibt. Jetzt in Cannes und in wenigen Wochen, wenn die Temperaturen noch einige Grad hochklettern, dann auch endlich in der Schweiz.
