Recently I enhanced quite a few times that I’m not really a dress lover. Well, my opinion changes as temperatures drop and layering clothing got an option again without sweating like a pig – excuse the expression. Because then a dress remains not just a plain dress anymore but rather can be combined and upgraded up to your taste and mood with layers of cardigans, jackets, coats and/or a sweater.
Or when the dress is catching enough attention with its exciting print and cool cut (like mine does) just take that cool leather jacket you’ve got hanging in your wardrobe for once, add warming tights, the hottest boots of the season – or a budget option – and a trendy fringe bag. And because it was still not really complete to me and I was missing that certain X factor, a filigree piece of jewelry out of the Miranda Kerr collection for Swarovski was the perfect choice.
So now it’s time to prepare my post for Sunday (there’s something special to come online then. yay) and afterwards start packing luggage. The countdown has started. Monaco I’m coming.
Dass ich grundsätzlich eher kein Kleiderliebhaber bin, habe ich bereits oft genug betont. Nun, die Sache ändert sich allerdings mit fallenden Temperaturen, wenn Layering wieder möglich wird, ohne direkt zu schwitzen wie ein Schwein – sorry für den Ausdruck. Denn dann ist ein Kleid nicht mehr einfach nur ein Kleid, sondern kann ganz nach eigenem Geschmack und Empfingen kombiniert werden mit Schichten aus Cardigans, Jacken, Mänteln und/oder einem Pulli.
Oder, wenn das Kleid mit aufregendem Print und coolem Schnitt bereits genug nach Aufmerksamkeit schreit, wie meines hier, eben doch einfach nur mit einer heissen Lederjacke, einem paar wärmenden Strümpfen, rockigen Boots und einer angesagten Fransentasche. Und weil’s mir dann doch zu wenig war und dieses gewisses Etwas fehlte, kam mir ein filigranes Schmuckstück aus der Miranda Kerr Kollektion für Swarovski gerade recht.
So, und jetzt heisst es für mich erstmal den Post für Sonntag vorzubereiten (Es kommt mal wieder was Spezielles. Jippie.) und dann die Koffer zu packen. Der Countdown läuft. Monaco ich komme!
