Almost an entire month passed by since I was in London for Fashion Week with Toni&Guy and now, before a mass of pictures from Turkey where I spend my days currently (and where I felt terrible lately) take over the blog, here you go with my very last Fashion Week street style and it’s even more casual than this recent one here. But not less cool, at least I hope ;). Understatement is the motto I tend to follow more often lately.
You know how much I love outfits with contrasts as it’s definitely not hard to see looking though my outfits, but sometimes I need a contrast to the contrast which is no contrast.Nevertheless this might be one of my favorite outfits of the month, not least because of the blouse with its romantic ruffles on its sleeves which makes it look not that basic but rather adds a touch of extravagance to the outfit. This might also be one of these outfits which are suitable for everything and never looks over- or underdressed. Simply because the “Basic Pieces” as you may call them at first sight are not that basic. Instead each of them has its own little detail which makes it special.
The blouse comes with striking ruffles, the jeans with a ripped heel part, the bag has its “nose” pierced, the platformed sneakers visually extends your legs while looking cooler than heels would and the dope hair by the Toni&Guy team… do I need to say anything else, except wishing you all a fabulous Wednesday? And maybe warn you about the fact that my Instagram will soon be filled with more picture from Turkey – so if you don’t feel like watching at Levi’s vintage shorts, cute dresses and a crystal clear sea, you better stay away ;)
Beinahe ein Monat ist vergangen, seit ich mit Toni&Guy in London zur Fashion Week war und jetzt, bevor Massen an Bildern aus der Türkei, wo ich die letzten Tage verbrachte – und es mir unter anderem ziemlich übel ging, online gehen, kommt auch noch der letzte Fashion Week Streetstyle online und er ist sogar noch schlichter, als dieser hier. Dabei aber nicht weniger cool, hoffe ich zumindest ;). Understatement heisst das Motto, dem ich immer öfter folge, so sehr ich kontrastreiche Outfits bekanntlicherweise liebe, manchmal brauche ich als Kontrast zum Kontrast halt eben kein Kontrast.
Trotzdem gehört dieser Basic Look vermutlich zu meinen Lieblingen, nicht zuletzt wegen der Bluse, die dank romantischen Rüschen an den Ärmeln gar nicht so basic ist, sondern dem Outfit die nötig Portion Extravaganz verleiht.
Das hier ist vermutlich auch einer dieser Looks, die immer gehen und die nie over- oder underdressed wirken. Bloss weil die auf den ersten Blick als «Basic Stücke» abgestempelten Kleidungsstücke halt eben ganz und gar nicht Basic sind. Stattdessen wertet jedes einzelne mit einem kleinen Extra den Look auf seine Art und Weise auf.Eine Bluse mit auffälligen Rüschen, Jeans mit ripped Fersenpartie, eine Tasche mit «Nasenring», Platform an Sneakern, die die Beine optisch strecken, aber dabei lässiger sind als Heels und der Haarstyle durch das Team von Toni&Guy … Brauch ich noch etwas zu sagen, ausser, euch einen wundervollen Mittwoch zu wünschen? Vielleicht noch darauf hinzuweisen, dass mein Instagram demnächst mit noch mehr Bildern aus der Türkei überrollt wird – wer jetzt schon keine Lust mehr auf Levi’s Vintage Shorts, süsse Kleidchen und kristallblause Meer hat, der bleibt also besser fern ;)
