While my Instagram is already full of pictures from New York it reminds me that it’s this time again. Fashion month has started and bloggers outdo each other – for once not with the height of the heels, because sneakers are trendier anyway but rather with more or less striking outfits. It feels like I’m the only one stuck in Europe – well, I wish I was because I’d definitely enjoy having a full train compartment for myself or not queue up when I doing my groceries.
Well, I really kind of missed the start of fashion week.Because days are seriously pass by in light speed and when I think about the fact that I already shot a project for Christmas, I have to smile because it feels surreal watching the pictures. This warm sweater, the boots and the oversized jacket. We all know, preparation is everything and when in this moment models are walking over the runway in New York wearing the summer it-pieces of the next year, I suddenly feels pretty normal to think about Christmas already. At least there are only three months to go instead of twelve.
But for today I will rather leave you with a classic summer end outfit in culottes, a striped top – for the chic French vibes, you know – and lots of golden accents in anticipation of how the forests will look in a couple of weeks. Have a fantastic weekend, my loves!
Während mein Instagram mittlerweile schon mit Bildern aus New York überflutet wird, wird mir bewusst, dass es wieder diese Zeit ist. Der Fashion Monat ist am Start und Blogger übertrumpfen sich wieder gegenseitig – diesmal nicht mit der Höhe der Heels, denn Sneakers sind aktuell schliesslich angesagter, sondern mit mehr oder weniger ausgefallen Outfits.
Es kommt mir fast vor, als sässe nur ich noch hier in Europa – naja, schön wärs ja, dann hätte ich mal ein ganzes Zugabteil für mich und müsste auch nicht in der Schlange anstehen, um meine Lebensmittel zu bezahlen. Und irgendwie habe ich den Start auch ziemlich versäumt.Denn die Tage rasen wieder in Lichtgeschwindigkeit vorbei und wenn ich daran denke, dass ich vor zwei Tagen bereits ein Projekt für Weihnachten geshootet habe, dann muss ich schon vor mich hin schmunzeln, so surreal fühlt es sich irgendwie an diese Bilder anzusehen. In warmem Pulli, Stiefel und übergrosser Jacke. Aber Vorbereitung ist schliesslich alles und wenn in diesem Moment Models in der Sommerkleidung des nächsten Jahres in New York über den Laufsteg schweben, dann scheint es mir doch plötzlich wieder ganz normal, dass ich schon an Weihnachten denke. Immerhin sind wir davon bloss noch drei Monate entfernt statt fast zwölf.
Für heute bleibe ich allerdings erstmal bei einem klassischen Übergangslook in Culottes, einem gestreifen Top – für den französischen Flair und so – und jeder Menge goldener Akzente, quasi in leiser Vorahnung wie die Wälder in wenigen Wochen erstrahlen werden.
