For today we are back on the “Beauty” topic once again – but it’s not about lipsticks, nail lacquers or creams. No. Today it’s all about the secret sanctuary of (almost) every woman. I probably don’t need to speak it out loud, but obviously it’s all about hair. Which girl doesn’t desire a magnificent head of hair that still looks healthy and cherished?
Who has never been at the hair dresser and then came home, watched herself in the mirror and almost had a crying fit because the hair stylist cut 2 cm to much? Well, I must admit, my hair is indeed very important to me and even for a million, cash in hand, I’d never ever shave or cut it short.After years of letting it grow and grow, my hair almost reached the length I always wanted it to be. Unfortunately its age is slowly but surely visible. It got very unruly, frizzy and unkempt. When I was brushing it, I often felt like “How the hell do I have still hair on my head?”. So, I actually had my long hair that I ever wanted but it wasn’t the silky structure I equally desired. A while ago, a friend of mine was speaking about a special treatment, that will give my hair its shine and softness back. I was sceptical. I am always sceptical in things which involve my hair. But I felt the need to discover more and ended up browsing the web. After some time of weighting whether to give it a try or not, I finally decided to make an appointment for the Goldwell Kerasilk Treatment in a hair salon in Zurich. I just had to find out if it really works as good as my friend told.
Not only for me, but also for all of you out there who love your hair. So, here we go with an overview of the treatment as well as my conclusion!Treatment:
The entire treatment takes about 2 – 3 hours. So make sure to have enough time planed for it. You can actually explore the procedure while scrolling down through the pictures but here’s also a summary in a few words: 1. Washing the hair with Goldwell Kerasilk products. Three times! 2. Blow dry, 3. Applying the Goldwell Kerasilk treatment product, 4. 15 minutes of exposure time, 5. Blow dry again, 6. straighten, straighten, straighten.
Conclusion:
Brilliant is probably the most suitable word to describe how I feel about it. My hair is shiny, it feels super duper soft, even super light and oh-so-silky. And guess what?! I can finally brush my hair without feeling like I’m turning into a skinhead soon. I haven’t had such healthy looking hair since years and therefor I can definitely recommend the Goldwell Kerasilk treatment in all conscience. Especially for all girls who are looking for silky and straight hair with soft texture. The one and only contra point that I might have to mention is the price which is about 500 CHF (approximately the same amount in dollars). That’s actually a big amount of money, especially for young people. In a breath I also need to mention that the effect of the treatment should hold for an entire half year. This fact justifies the high price to me and I will definitely let you know whether the 6 month promise is true. You will hear from me in half year ;-)
PS: Just if you’re like “I want my hair healthy and soft as she told but OMG, I don’t want it to be that extremely straight.” I wished for a not to strong treatment as I wanted to keep at least a little of my hair’s natural wavy shape, therefor my hair won’t stay as super straight as in these photos, which were taken right after the treatment. You can do the same of course. And here you can find your closest salon offering the treatment.
Heute geht’s weiter im Bereich “Beauty” – und zwar nicht mit Lippenstiften, Nagellacken oder Cremes. Nein. Heute geht’s um das heimliche Heiligtum (fast) jeder Frau. Ich bräuchte es nicht auszusprechen, aber es geht ganz offensichtlich um die Haare. Um die Kopfhaare natürlich. Welches Mädel wünscht sich nicht eine wunderschöne, lange Haarpracht, die trotzdem noch gesund und top gepflegt aussieht? Wer war noch nie beim Frisör und bekam anschliessend zuhause beim Betrachen im Spiegel einen halben Heulkrampf, weil 2 cm zuviel abgeschnitten wurden? Also ich muss zugeben, dass mir meine Haare schon ganz schön wichtig sind und ich sie mir selbst für 1 Million, bar auf die Hand, niemals nehmen lassen würde.
Nach Jahren des “Züchtens” haben meine Haare jetzt beinahe die Länge erreicht, die ich schon immer haben wollte. Leider sah man ihnen ihr Alter langsam aber sicher auch an – sie wurden widerspenstig, kraus und struppig. Beim Bürsten fragte ich mich oft: “Wie zum Teufel kann ein Mensch so viele Haare verlieren und noch keine Glatze haben?” Ich hatte also mein schön langes Haar, aber nicht die seidige Struktur, die ich mir ebenso wünschte. Vor einiger Zeit erzählte eine Freundin von einem Treatment, dass meinen Haaren ihren seidigen Glanz wieder verleihen soll. Ich war skeptisch. Ich bin immer skeptischen, wenn es um meine geliebten Haare geht. Aber ich verspürte den Drang mehr darüber zu erfahren und erkundigte mich im Web (logisch, als Kind des digitalen Zeitalters) darüber. Nach langem hin und her überlegen – es geht hier schliesslicht um meine Haare! – wagte ich es, im Zürcher Haar Salon “Head Case” einen Termin für das Goldwell Kerasilk Treatment zu vereinbaren. Das musste einfach getestet werden, für mich und auch für alle unter euch, die ihre Haare lieben. Also hier eine kleine Übersicht der Prozedur und mein Fazit!
Behandlung:
Die gesamte Behandlung benötigt ca. 2 – 3 Stunden. Also Zeit mitbringen! Den ganzen Ablauf könnt ihr in den Fotos unten mitverfolgen. Trotzdem nochmals in Worten zusammengefasst: 1. Haare mit den Goldwell Kerasilk Produkten waschen! Ganze dreimal! 2. Haare föhnen. 3. Goldwell Kerasilk Treatment Haarsträhne um Haarsträhne auftragen. 4. 15 Minuten einwirken lassen 5. Nochmals trocken föhnen. 6. Glätten, glätten, glätten.
Fazit:
Einfach klasse! Ich bin wirklich begeistert vom Ergebnis. Meine Haare stehen nicht mehr an allen Seiten ab, sie glänzen wunderbar, fühlen sich leicht, weich und seidig an und sie lassen sich ganz ohne Probleme durchkämen – und ohne das Gefühl zu haben, bald keine Haare mehr auf dem Kopf zu haben. So gesund aussehendes Haar hatte ich schon sein Jahren nicht mehr , deshalb kann ich das Goldwell Kerasilk Treatment guten Gewissens jedem Mädel da draussen empfehlen, das sich eine glatte, gesunde und einfach nur schöne Haarstruktur wünscht. Der einzige Contra-Punkt, den ich anmerken könnte, ist der Preis. Der liegt bei 500 CHF, was natürlich, vor allem für Junge, doch einen Haufen Geld ist. Ich muss im gleichen Atemzug aber auch erwähnen, dass das Treatment ein ganzes halbes Jahr lang halten soll. Dieser Fakt rechtfertigt für mich den Preis auf jeden Fall und ich werde euch gerne in 6 Monate nochmals berichten, wie es um meine Haare steht ;-)
PS: Nur so, falls ihr jetzt denkt: “Ja, ich möchte meine Haare auch so weich und seidig haben aber OMG, doch nicht so übertrieben glatt/gerade”. Ich habe mir eine nicht ganz so starke Behandlung gewünscht, um meine natürlichen, leichten Wellen etwas beizubehalten, deshalb werden meine Haare jetzt auch nicht 6 Monate so extrem gerade wie auf den Bildern bleiben. Das könnt ihr natürlich genau so machen. Hier könnt ihr den für euch nächsten Salon finden, in dem ihr das Treatment machen könnt.
